What this tool does
Cuts a section out of a video by setting a start and end time in seconds, giving you that section on its own.
When to use it
- You want one particular moment out of a long recording.
- You are removing an unwanted intro or outro from a clip.
- You are preparing a short shareable clip from a full recording.
- You are pulling the important part out of a meeting or stream recording.
How to use it
- Put a video on the drop area or choose it.
- Enter "Start (seconds)" and "End (seconds)".
- Click "Trim video" and wait for processing.
- Click "Download clip".
A practical example
Input
An hour-long meeting recording, start at 1320 and end at 1500.
Output
A three-minute clip containing only that section.
Limitations
- The end time must be after the start time, and you get an explicit message if it is not.
- Times are entered numerically in seconds rather than by dragging a handle on a timeline.
- One section at a time; repeat the operation to pull out several.
- The file limit is 1 GB.
Privacy and processing
Trimming happens inside your browser and the video is never uploaded.
Technical notes
- Processing runs locally through FFmpeg.wasm inside a web worker.
