What this tool does
Speeds a video up or slows it down, adjusting the audio by the same ratio while preserving its pitch so voices do not turn squeaky or booming.
When to use it
- A lecture or tutorial you want to get through faster.
- Fast action you want slowed down to see the detail.
- A long recording you want shortened without cutting anything out.
- You are making a fast- or slow-motion effect.
How to use it
- Put a video on the drop area or choose it.
- Choose the "Playback speed" you want.

A practical example
Input
A 20-minute tutorial at 1.5× speed.
Output
A roughly 13-minute clip whose speech stays intelligible at its natural pitch rather than sounding high-pitched.
Limitations
- Extreme speed-ups make speech hard to follow however well the pitch is preserved.
- Extreme slow-downs look stuttery, because the original frames are stretched over a longer time without new frames being generated.
- The speed applies to the whole clip, not a section of it.
