The Video Silence Remover automatically detects silent moments (dead air in podcast recordings or screen-recorded tutorials), cuts them out of both the video and audio in perfect sync, and splices the remaining parts back into a single, cleaner, shorter video. Three sensitivity levels (gentle, balanced, aggressive) control how strictly silence is detected. This is a different operation from the audio silence remover, which only works on standalone audio files with no accompanying video. All processing happens in your browser via FFmpeg.wasm — no video is ever uploaded to a server.

Limitations
- Aggressive sensitivity can clip the starts or ends of words, making speech sound chopped; start with balanced.
- A recording with loud background noise may have no detectable silence at all, because the noise fills the gaps.
- If no silence is found, the tool tells you rather than producing a copy identical to the original.
- Cuts happen where the silence is, not where an editor would choose — this is automated tightening, not a substitute for editing.
