Video Collage Maker (Split Screen)

The Video Collage Maker combines several video clips into a single split-screen video, with four layouts: side by side (2 clips), stacked (2 clips), a row of 3 clips, or a 2x2 grid (4 clips). Each clip is scaled to fit its cell without distortion, every clip's audio is mixed together, and the result is automatically trimmed to the shortest clip's duration. This is a distinctly different operation from the video merger, which concatenates clips one after another instead of showing them all at once. All processing happens in your browser via FFmpeg.wasm — no video is ever uploaded to a server.

Video Tools Runs entirely in your browser

Your video is processed on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

Only use this tool with files you own or have the right to process.

Every clip must be under 30 seconds long — they're combined with mixed audio and trimmed to the shortest clip's duration.

They'll be arranged in the order you add them

What this tool does

Combines several video clips into one that plays them simultaneously, in a layout you choose: side by side, stacked, a row of three, or a 2×2 grid.

When to use it

  • A side-by-side comparison — before and after, say.
  • Showing several angles of the same event at once.
  • Collecting multiple responses or contributions into one clip.
  • Showing a screen and a camera together from two separate recordings.

How to use it

  1. Put your clips on the drop area or choose them — they are arranged in the order you add them.
  2. Choose the "Layout" that matches how many clips you have.
  3. Click "Create collage", then "Download video".

A practical example

Input

Two 30-second clips with the "Side by side" layout.

Output

One clip showing both side by side and playing at the same time.

Limitations

  • The number of clips must match the chosen layout: two for the paired layouts, three for the row, four for the grid.
  • With clips of different lengths, the shorter one ends first and its panel holds or goes empty until the longest finishes.
  • The audio tracks are combined, so speech in more than one clip will overlap.
  • Position in the layout follows the order you added the clips and cannot be changed afterwards without starting again.

Privacy and processing

Every clip is processed inside your browser and none is uploaded to our servers.

Technical notes

  • The clips are composited into a single frame during re-encoding, so the result is an ordinary video file rather than a multi-pane player.

Frequently Asked Questions

The output video is automatically trimmed so all clips end together at the shortest clip's duration.
