Rotate & Flip Image

Fix a sideways or mirrored photo by rotating it in 90-degree steps or flipping it along either axis, then download the corrected image. Runs entirely in your browser.

Image Tools Runs entirely in your browser

Your images are processed on your device via Canvas and are never uploaded to our servers.

Drag images here or choose them

You can select multiple images at once (JPG, PNG, or WebP)

What this tool does

Rotates images in right-angle steps and flips them horizontally or vertically. Several images can be given the same transform at once.

When to use it

  • Photos from a camera or scanner came out at the wrong orientation.
  • A selfie taken on a front camera is mirrored, so any text in it reads backwards.
  • You want a batch of images brought to one consistent orientation.

How to use it

  1. Drag the images you want reoriented onto the drop area, or choose them — several at once is supported.
  2. Apply the rotation you want, or "Flip horizontal" or "Flip vertical".
  3. Download the results individually or with "Download all as ZIP".

A practical example

Input

A front-camera photo in which the text on a shirt reads backwards.

Output

The same photo flipped horizontally, with the text now the right way round.

Limitations

  • Rotation is in right angles only (90, 180, 270); there is no free-angle rotation.
  • A flip mirrors the whole image and cannot be limited to part of it.
  • Re-encoding on save can change the file size slightly from the original.

Privacy and processing

Every image is processed inside your browser through the canvas and none is uploaded to our servers.

Technical notes

  • Right-angle rotation needs no interpolation between pixels, so the rotation itself costs no sharpness.
