Audio Mixer

Upload multiple audio files to mix them together into one track, playing simultaneously — useful for adding background music under narration — with individual volume control per track, then download the mixed result.

Audio Tools Runs entirely in your browser

Your audio file is processed on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

Only use this tool with files you own or have the right to process.

This mixer blends the files so they're heard together at the same time (not one after another) — like combining background music with a voiceover.

What this tool does

Mixes several audio files into one in which they all play at the same time, rather than one after another as a merge does.

When to use it

  • Putting background music under recorded narration.
  • Combining a sound-effects track with a main recording.
  • Combining two speakers who were recorded separately.

How to use it

  1. Put your audio files on the drop area or choose them.
  2. Remove any you do not want from the list.
  3. Run the mix, then download the result.

A practical example

Input

A two-minute narration and a music file of the same length.

Output

One file in which the narration and the music play together from start to finish.

Limitations

  • The level of each track cannot be set separately; adjust each file first with the Audio Volume Changer.
  • Each track's start point cannot be offset; they all begin at zero.
  • The output's length follows the longest file, and shorter ones end before it.
  • Mixing several loud tracks can clip the peaks.

Privacy and processing

Every track you add is combined locally in your browser; none of them is uploaded.

Technical notes

  • The substantive difference from the Audio Merger: merging appends files one after another, mixing overlays them in the same span of time.
