What this tool does

When to use it

Limitations
- Word counting splits on whitespace and can differ slightly from a word processor's count in edge cases such as hyphenated words.
- Reading time is an estimate at an average pace; actual reading varies with the text's difficulty and the reader.
- Paragraphs are counted by line breaks, so text pasted with unusual formatting can give an unexpected number.
