Number to Arabic Words
Convert any number into its full Arabic-word spelling (تفقيط), the format used on checks, invoices, and legal documents in Arabic — with optional currency wording. This is the one tool whose output stays in Arabic regardless of interface language, since that spelling is the entire point of the tool.
The number is processed entirely on your device — it's never sent to a server.
Supported range: -999,999,999,999 to 999,999,999,999, with up to 2 decimal places.

What this tool does
Spells a number out in Arabic words, either as plain spelling or in a currency mode that includes the unit and its subdivisions.
When to use it
- A cheque or promissory note needing the amount in words.
- A contract or invoice that requires the amount spelled out.
- An official document asking for a figure in writing.
- Checking a spelled-out amount someone else wrote.
How to use it
- Choose the "Spelling mode": plain spelling or currency mode.
- Enter the "Number".
- Copy the result in Arabic words.
A practical example
Input
An amount with decimals in currency mode.
Output
The amount written out in words together with the currency unit and its subdivisions.
Limitations
- Review the text before using it in official financial or legal documents — this is the warning the tool itself displays, and responsibility for what goes into an official document remains yours.
- Spelling conventions differ slightly between countries and banking practice, and your institution may require a particular form.
- Currency mode is set to a specific unit; for another currency, adjust the unit name by hand after copying.
- Amounts beyond the browser's numeric precision cannot be spelled out reliably — a real limit when writing out very large sums.
Privacy and processing
The number is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to a server.
Technical notes
- Separating plain spelling from currency mode is deliberate, because a cheque's wording differs from simply writing a number out.
