Fill PDF Form
Enter text, check boxes, and pick dropdown options for every field a PDF form defines, then download the filled file — optionally flattening it so the values can no longer be edited. Text fields support Latin characters only, due to a limitation of the font used to fill PDF forms.
Your file is processed on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
Text fields only support Latin letters, numbers, and basic symbols (not Arabic), due to a limitation of the built-in font used to fill PDF forms.

What this tool does
Reads a PDF's form fields, presents them as a fillable form on the page, and writes your values back into the file. It includes an option to flatten the fields afterwards so the content becomes part of the page rather than an editable field.
When to use it
- A PDF form your browser's reader will not let you save.
- You want to fill a form and send it as a final file the recipient cannot change.
- You need to fill the same form repeatedly with different values.
How to use it
- Put the PDF containing the form on the drop area.
- Wait for the fields to be read, then fill each one in.
- Turn on the flatten option if you want the values baked permanently into the page.
- Run the fill and download the result.
A practical example
Input
A form with a name field, a date field and a consent checkbox, filled in with flattening turned on.
Output
A PDF with the values printed on the page, no longer fields anyone can later change.
Limitations
- Text values written into fields are limited to Latin characters. The reason is specific: field values are drawn with pdf-lib's standard font, which covers Latin glyphs only, and they cannot be rasterised the way the watermark tool does its text, because that would destroy the field's own editability. The tool warns you about this.
- It only works on a file that genuinely contains form fields; check first with the PDF Form Field Inspector.
- Flattening cannot be undone — once flattened, the fields cannot be made fillable again, so keep the original form.
Privacy and processing
Filling happens inside your browser. The data you type into the form never leaves your device and is never sent to any server.
Technical notes
- Filling and flattening both use pdf-lib's built-in AcroForm support.
