SEO & Marketing Tools Runs entirely in your browser
The link is generated entirely on your device — nothing is sent to a server.
What this tool does
Builds a link carrying the standard UTM parameters — source, medium, campaign, and optionally term and content — so your analytics can attribute the traffic.
When to use it
- Launching an email campaign and wanting to know how many visits came from it.
- Posting the same link across several channels and needing to tell them apart.
- Comparing two adverts that lead to the same page.
- Standardising parameter naming across a marketing team.
How to use it
- Enter the "Page URL".
- Fill in utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign.
- Add utm_term and utm_content if you need finer attribution.
- Click "Build link" and copy it.
A practical example
Input
A page URL with source newsletter, medium email and campaign spring_sale.
Output
The same URL carrying those three parameters, so the visit appears in analytics attributed to that campaign specifically.
Limitations
- The parameters are visible in the link to anyone who sees it; do not put anything in them you would not want read.
- Naming consistency is yours to keep: Email and email appear as two different campaigns in analytics, which is the commonest cause of messy reports.
- Some platforms strip parameters when a link is shared, so check the link after posting.
- Parameters attribute where a visit came from; they say nothing about its quality.
Privacy and processing
The link is generated entirely on your device and nothing is sent to a server.
Technical notes
- Parameter values are encoded automatically, so values containing spaces or special characters do not break the link.
