What this tool does
Generates a QR code from text or a link you enter, at a size you choose, downloadable as a PNG.
When to use it
- Putting a link on a sticker, card or sign.
- Sharing a link with someone in front of you without dictating it.
- Putting a menu or form link on a table or wall.
- Putting your profile link on printed material.
How to use it
- Enter the "Text or link".
- Choose the "Size".
- Click "Generate QR Code", then "Download PNG".
A practical example
Input
A page URL.
Output
A QR image that opens that link when scanned with a phone camera.
Limitations
- The longer the text the denser the code and the harder it is to scan; shorten long links before generating.
- A code printed very small, or on a glossy or curved surface, is hard to scan — test it physically before printing in quantity.
- The code is static: changing its destination later means generating and reprinting a new one.
- A QR code does not protect what it points at; whoever scans it reaches the destination directly.
Privacy and processing
The QR code is generated entirely on your device and neither the text nor the link is sent to a server.
Technical notes
- The output is a PNG at the chosen size, so it prints cleanly provided you pick a large enough one.
