SERP Snippet Preview
Type a page title and meta description to preview exactly how it would appear as a search result snippet, including character-length warnings for text that would get truncated by Google.
The preview happens entirely on your device — your data is never sent to a server.
This is only an approximate preview — Google may rewrite the actual title or description in real search results.

What this tool does
Shows how your page's title, description and URL will look in search results, with separate desktop and mobile previews.
When to use it
- Writing a title and description and wanting to see them before publishing.
- Checking whether your title will be truncated for length.
- Comparing two title options for clarity in the result.
- Reviewing existing pages to improve their titles.
How to use it
- Enter the URL, title and description.
- Compare the "Desktop preview" against the "Mobile preview".
A practical example
Input
A long title and a medium-length description.
Output
A preview showing the title truncated with an ellipsis on desktop while the description fits — and the mobile view cutting at a different point.
Limitations
- Truncation points are approximate: search engines measure in pixels rather than characters, and wide letters consume more space than narrow ones.
- A search engine may display a different title or description from the one you wrote if it judges another a better fit for the query.
- The preview does not show extra elements such as ratings or sitelinks that may appear for your page.
Privacy and processing
The preview happens entirely on your device and your data is never sent to a server.
Technical notes
- The two previews are separate because the display limits differ substantially, and a title that fits in one can be cut in the other.
