Screenshot Beautifier
The Screenshot Beautifier turns a plain screenshot into a polished, share-ready image for X, LinkedIn, or anywhere else: it adds a gradient background from a ready-made set, padding around the image, rounded corners, a realistic soft shadow, and an optional simple browser frame (colored dots above the image) if you want one. The preview updates live as you adjust things, and the final export is high-quality (2x resolution) PNG. All processing happens in your browser via Canvas — your screenshot is never uploaded to a server.
Your screenshot is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded to a server.
Upload a screenshot, pick a background, padding, rounded corners, and a soft shadow, and download a version ready to share on X or LinkedIn — all inside your browser.

What this tool does
Turns a plain screenshot into a polished image: a coloured background, padding around it, rounded corners, a shadow, and an optional window-style frame.
When to use it
- You are publishing a screenshot of a product or feature and want it to look considered.
- You are putting screenshots into a presentation or article and want them consistent.
- A hard-edged screenshot looks abrupt against a page background.
How to use it
- Put the screenshot on the drop area or choose it.
- Set the background, padding, corner radius and shadow, and turn on the frame if you want a window look.
- Download the result.
A practical example
Input
A hard-edged screenshot of an app interface.
Output
The same screenshot inside a coloured background with comfortable padding, rounded corners and a soft shadow separating it from the backdrop.
Limitations
- This decorates the surround and does not alter the screenshot's own content.
- The output's dimensions grow beyond the original by the padding.
- Background and frame options are limited to what is offered; arbitrary custom backgrounds are not supported.
- To hide sensitive data inside the screenshot, use the image redaction tool before beautifying it.
Privacy and processing
The screenshot is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded to a server.
Technical notes
- The effect is produced by drawing the screenshot onto a larger canvas with the background, shadow and rounding, rather than by altering the screenshot's own pixels.
