Schema Markup Generator
Fill in a simple form for a common schema.org type — like Article, Product, or FAQ — to generate valid JSON-LD structured data, ready to paste into your page's <head> for richer search results.
The code is generated entirely on your device — your data is never sent to a server.
Generating well-formed JSON-LD doesn't guarantee a rich result in search engines — that decision is up to the search engine.
JSON-LD
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "Article",
"headline": "",
"author": {
"@type": "Person",
"name": ""
}
}What this tool does
Generates JSON-LD structured data for common types — article, FAQ, product or organisation — from fields you fill in, ready to paste into your page.
When to use it
- Wanting your page eligible for richer search results such as ratings or questions.
- Publishing an article and wanting its data marked up.
- Listing a product with a price and wanting it described.
- Describing your organisation to search engines.
How to use it
- Choose the structured data type.
- Fill in its fields — headline, author and image for an article, or the questions and answers for an FAQ.
- Copy the generated code into your page.
A practical example
Input
The FAQ type with three questions and their answers.
Output
JSON-LD describing those three questions in the standard format, ready to paste.
Limitations
- Structured data does not guarantee rich results; the search engine decides.
- The markup must match what a visitor actually sees on the page — marking up questions that do not appear in the content is a clear violation that can lead to a manual action against the site.
- This generates the code and does not validate it against the official testing tools; test it before relying on it.
- Four types are supported out of the dozens in the specification.
Privacy and processing
The code is generated entirely on your device and your data is never sent to a server.
Technical notes
- The output is JSON-LD, the format search engines recommend because it sits apart from the page markup rather than being interleaved with it.
