Image Compare Slider
Upload two images to compare them with a draggable before/after slider — useful for showing an edit, a restoration, or a design change. Runs entirely in your browser, nothing is uploaded.
Both your images are shown on your device only and are never sent to a server.

Second image (after)

What this tool does
Shows two images stacked with a slider that reveals one or the other, so you see the difference in the same position rather than switching between two windows.
When to use it
- You are comparing a photo before and after editing to judge the effect.
- You are showing a client the original against the processed result.
- You are checking what compression or resizing did to an image's quality.
- You are comparing two designs of the same interface.
How to use it
- Put the "First image (before)" in its slot.
- Put the "Second image (after)" in its slot.
- Drag "Compare position" to reveal more of one image or the other.
A practical example
Input
An original photo and the same photo after brightness and contrast adjustments.
Output
A single view you can drag across to see the difference anywhere in the frame.
Limitations
- This is a viewer only: it produces no file and calculates no difference figure. To measure the difference numerically, use the Image Pixel Diff tool.
- Images of different dimensions may not line up, which makes the comparison misleading.
- The comparison is by eye, so subtle differences can escape notice.
Privacy and processing
Both images are displayed on your device only and are never sent to a server.
Technical notes
- The view works by overlaying the two images and revealing part of one according to the slider, without creating any new file.
