Case Converter

Convert text between uppercase, lowercase, title case, sentence case, and other common casing styles instantly — useful for fixing text pasted in the wrong case. Processed entirely in your browser.

Text Tools Runs entirely in your browser

Text is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to a server.

This only affects English letters — non-Latin text (which has no upper/lowercase) stays unchanged.

What this tool does

Converts the letter case of text between the common forms — upper case, lower case, sentence case, title case and others.

When to use it

  • A heading typed in all capitals that you want in proper title case.
  • Text that arrived in inconsistent case you want normalised.
  • Lower-casing text before processing it programmatically.
  • Preparing a headline for publication in a consistent form.

How to use it

  1. Choose the "Case conversion type".
  2. Paste your text into the field.
  3. Copy the "Result".

A practical example

Input

A phrase in all capitals converted to title case.

Output

The same phrase with each principal word capitalised.

Limitations

  • The conversion affects Latin letters only: scripts that draw no distinction between upper and lower case — Arabic among them — are left unchanged, which is a property of those scripts rather than a fault.
  • Title case follows a general rule and may not match the style guide your organisation uses for articles and prepositions.
  • Names and acronyms can lose their correct form after conversion; review the output.

Privacy and processing

The conversion happens on your device and your text is never sent anywhere.

Technical notes

  • The in-tool notice about Latin letters exists specifically because an Arabic-speaking user might otherwise think the tool is broken, when it is converting everything that can be converted.
