Convert PDF to PowerPoint
Converts each page of your PDF into a high-quality image, then places it as a full slide inside a real .pptx presentation file that opens directly in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or LibreOffice Impress. This approach preserves the page's exact visual appearance (including graphics and complex layouts), but doesn't produce editable text inside the slides — if you need editable text, try the PDF to Word tool instead. The whole conversion happens entirely in your browser, with nothing ever uploaded to a server.
Your file is processed on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

What this tool does
Converts a PDF into a .pptx presentation with one slide per page. Each page is rendered as a full-slide image, and the slide size is taken from the first page's dimensions.
When to use it
- You have a deck as a PDF and need it in PowerPoint to present or build on.
- You want to fold a document's pages into a larger presentation.
- You need to present a document on screen using presentation software.
How to use it
- Put a PDF on the drop area or choose it; its page count and previews appear.
- Click "Convert to PowerPoint" and wait for "Converting pages to slides...".
- Click "Download PowerPoint file (.pptx)".
A practical example
Input
A 15-page widescreen PDF deck.
Output
A .pptx with 15 slides, each carrying its page as an image at the same aspect ratio.
Limitations
- The text on the slides is an image, not editable text — you cannot change the words in PowerPoint afterwards. If editable text is what you want, use the PDF to Word tool.
- A presentation file supports only one global slide size, so the first page sets it. Pages with different dimensions are scaled down and centred within that size, never stretched or cropped.
- The resulting file is usually larger than the source PDF, because every slide carries an image.
Privacy and processing
The conversion happens inside your browser and the file is never uploaded.
Technical notes
- The output is a standards-compliant OOXML package that opens in PowerPoint and compatible software.
- Pages are rendered with pdf.js at a resolution independent of the slide dimensions, so image quality is not limited by the deck's size.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not directly — each slide is a full image of the original PDF page, not editable text. This preserves the exact visual appearance (including graphics and unusual fonts), but if you need editable text, try the PDF to Word tool instead.
