How to use it
- Enter the "Annual leave entitlement (days)".
- Enter the "Vacation days used this year".
- Enter the "Months worked this year (1-12)".
- Run the calculation and read the "Accrued balance so far" and the "Remaining balance".
A practical example
Input
A 30-day entitlement with 8 days used, after 6 months worked.
Output
15 days accrued so far, leaving 7 once the days already used are deducted.
Limitations
- The calculation is a simple pro rata by month; employment systems differ in how leave accrues, how balances carry over, and how unpaid leave is treated.
- Treat the result as an estimate for personal planning; your employer's policy and contract are the authority.
- It does not distinguish between leave types.
